Hanic’s first pic is POV You’re My Therapist. The host is known as Divine. She is in her mid to late 20s and delivers weekly episodes filled with stories about how she navigates day-to-day things, how she is experiencing the dating scene, and her mental health. Hanic loves how very raw and authentic the conversations are. And how really relatable and open the host is about everything in her life.
If you love real, raw, insightful conversations, Hanic definitely recommends this one!
See, The Thing Is ……
Next up, Hanic recommends See, The Thing Is…
This podcast is hosted by Bridget Kelly and Mandii B. In their episodes, they talk about all things concerning pop culture, music, and all from the point of view of powerful influential women of color. If Hanic is looking for a fix on what is happening in those spaces, Hanic can be found tuning into one of their podcast episodes.
The Conversation Capital
Hanic’s last pick for her favorite podcasts is The Conversation Capital. This is a South African video podcast hosted by Ursula Mariani. Each episode features discussions on global societal issues in a South African context. Topics include conversations on women’s safety, and the high number of single mothers, as well as insightful conversations on topics like depression and learning to prioritize yourself. Ursula Mariani always brings on a guest that has dealt with or is currently experiencing the topic that is being discussed, which brings a real authenticity to the topics.

Andrew Schulz’s Flagrant with Akaash Singh
When Reuben is in the mood for a great laugh, it’s Andrew Schulz’s Flagrant with Akaash Singh that he tunes in to.
This is a fun, goofy podcast hosted by comedian Andrew Schultz with Akassh Singh.
Reuben loves the comedy, the great banter, and the clever twists they put on real-world issues. In Reuben’s words, “It’s always a laugh!”
The Joe Rogan Experience
Reuben’s final pick is The Joe Rogan Experience on the team. But as Reuben puts it, “At this point, this podcast is basically a library of really interesting conversations.”
Reuben usually only listens to episodes that feature guests he’s intrigued by or wants to know more about. And as Reuben also points out, it’s not often you get 2-3 hours of content in one sitting.

Thirty Minutes with the Perrys
Next up, Rebekah tunes in to Thirty Minutes with The Perrys. Hosts Preston Perry and Jackie Hill Perry bring their humor, honesty, and insight into conversations on everything from relationships, theology, politics, race, and parenting.
Rebekah really loves that these episodes are conversations and portray how curious we should be about the world around us and how all these varied topics relating to faith.
Knowing Faith
Rebekah’s final pick for her favorite podcasts is Knowing Faith.
This podcast is hosted by Jen Wilkin, JT English, and Kyle Worley.
In each episode of this podcast, the hosts dives into Christian stories, beliefs, and practices in a way that is accessible to everyone.
Rebekah finds it to be a great tool to dig into Bible study.

And finally, meet Brad. Brad heads up our Business Relations. He’s got all the facts and the figures for all your “quotable” needs. He’s a pro at walking potential clients through our process and he’ll help you find the package that’s perfect for you.

Most of Brad’s top picks come from the cold case and true-crime category. They’re pretty cool podcasts in their own right, but Brad swears there’s nothing better than a classic Cold Case or Forensic Files podcast episode to help you drift off to sleep. First up, Brad suggests Root of Evil: The True Story of the Hodel Family and the Black Dahlia.
This is an expertly-told tale that features never-before-heard archival audio and first-time interviews as the Hodel family opens up to reveal their shocking story.
Hunting Warhead
Podcast pick number 2 from Brad is Hunting Warhead.
This is another fantastic podcast in the true-crime category. It’s intriguing, eye-opening, and incredibly shocking.
And again, according to Brad, a great way to fall asleep!
Hunting Warhead follows the journalists and police on a global mission to expose the darkest corners of the internet.
What they discover shocks them.
Escaping NXIVM
Another top pick from Brad is Escaping NXIVM.
This one is an investigative podcast series about the group, its leader Keith Raniere and one woman’s journey to get out.
Darknet Diaries
Lastly, Brad recommends Darknet Diaries. This is a podcast about hackers, breaches, shadow government activity, hacktivism, cybercrime, and all the things that dwell on the hidden parts of the network.

Brad’s Super secret podcast sleep technique:
Step 1. Plug your phone into its charger on your nightstand and set your morning alarm (important!).
Step 2. Pick any of the above podcasts. Press play and set the volume. You’re looking for that happy medium between “not too loud”, and “just loud enough to hear the story.”
Step 3. Set the sleep timer on your podcast listening app of choice to 15 or 30 minutes. (This is a pretty cool but clearly underused feature that most podcast listening apps offer.)
Step 4. Close your eyes (also important) and face away from the phone. And “Hello!” Dreamland!
